Where is the New Freedmen’s Clinic located?
On the 3rd floor of the Howard University Hospital in Suite 3200.

When is the clinic open?
Patients can be seen on Mondays between 6pm and 9pm. Please note that the clinic will be closed on selected Mondays depending on the schedule for the College of Medicine.
How can I book an appointment?
Please give us a call at 202-540-0563 and speak to one of our student volunteers or leave us a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Is the clinic open on holidays?
No, the clinic will be closed on major holidays, during University breaks, and exam weeks for 3rd year medical students. This academic year, the clinic will be closed on 10/14, 11/11, 12/16, 12/23, 12/30, 1/20/2020, 2/17/2020, 3/16/2020, 5/11/2020, 5/23/2020, 7/6/2020
Can I be screened for Hepatitis C at this clinic?
Yes! We have a screening program for Hepatitis C, be sure to ask when you come in for your appointment if you’re interested in this service.
